Tenuta la Meridiana has decided to create an “important” wine produced in a small quantity, about 3000 bottles according to the harvest, with the assembly of the best grapes of the property, Nebbiolo 60%, Barbera 30%. The “Rivaia” shows an extremely concentrated garnet red colour, persitent and intense aroma with tones of wood berries, vanille and spices. In the mouth the taste is full, well structured with noble tannins. Refined 18 months in barriques and six months in bottles, it is a wine good for aging over 10 years.
Its characteristics are exalted with strong tasting courses, meat, game, stewed meat and spicy cheese.
Serve in large glasses at a temperature of 18°/19° C.
