The “Vitis” is Giampiero little Barbera d’Asti doc. It is the only Barbera that does not have a single vineyard designation, that is why it is called "Vitis" because the Vitis Vinifera is the generic name for vine tree. Giampiero decided this name because this wine comes from the second selection of grape from the three single vineyards Barbera he produces: "Le Gagie" - "Bricco Sereno Superiore" - "Terra e Cielo Superiore".
The result is a refreshing medium bodied Barbera, that displays a lot of fresh fruit and it is the perfect companion for every day meal or easy to pour for By the Glass Program in restaurants.
