In the middle of Langhe, between the hills of the great poems of Cesare Pavese, the azienda agricola Bosio Egidio is located, in a world in which tecnology works together with rural tradition.
The firm, officially born in 1967, has 21 hectars of vines, divided in the typical coltures of Langa: the most part of our production is concentrated on Moscato d'Asti D.O.C.G., our standard-bearer, but also Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba, all great red wines of the Piedmontese tradition.
Our lands are in part in S.Stefano Belbo and some in Castiglione Tinella, Mango, Costigliole d'Asti and Castagnole Lanze. The Azienda Agricola Bosio Egidio in the first years of activity sold its production mostly loose or in demijohns.
Few years later the firm passed to the son Valter that changed the business policy, from the selling of demijohns to a production in bottles of the best wines of the year, so that the firm became of pretty big size.
The Bosio company is increasing and improving from day to day, becoming a reference point in Langhe wine world.
To help a fast and constant progress it was necessary to create a technical working team. Rosella and Valter, the owners, are supported by the son Luca, brilliant oenologist, and by Rossano Abbona and Marco Icardi, graduates from Alba's oenological school. They share meticulous care in the cellar and painstacking work in every stage of the production process.
