The “Grave” area, in Friuli Region, is considered the most suitable for the production of Pinot Grigio because it is very stony and the vines are very stressed.

Struggling to survive the vine tree focus on the production of the grapes versus the production of leaves and branches with a remarkable benefit for the quality of the wine.
